Pilot Program

The Office of the Comptroller (CTR) is pleased to launch this pilot program of DocuSign for Form W-9s and Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) Forms. The use of electronic signatures is meant to improve the customer experience for departments and vendors, increase efficiency, and provide data integrity.

Thank you to our partners in this pilot program: The Operational Services Division, Massachusetts Department of Transportation, Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Cannabis Control Commission, the Committee for Public Counsel Services, and Division of Capital Asset Management.

With your assistance and feedback, we hope to roll this program out statewide in the near future.
 

Considerations

CTR is the tax clearinghouse for the Commonwealth and is responsible for accurate state and federal tax reporting for all reportable expenditures made by the Commonwealth. Departments must implement sufficient internal controls to verify that all vendor information submitted to CTR is accurate and complete.
