Beware of email promising COVID-19 benefits to state employees

Recently a phishing email was sent to state employees offering $3000 to all employees as a “COVID-19 benefit”. Recipients are told to click on a link, “COVID-19 Benefits”, to apply to receive the money.

If you receive such an email, do not click the link, and report the email to your agency’s cyber incident response team as well as to CTREmergencyNotification@mass.gov. Visit the CTR Cyber Center for additional resources and links for Cybersecurity Tips and Alerts.
