About

Chapter 62F is a Massachusetts General Law which requires that when tax collections in a given fiscal year exceed an annual tax cap, the excess funds are returned to taxpayers by the Department of Revenue. The Office of the Comptroller certifies certain State Tax Revenues and sends the information to the Department of Revenue as they make the required reports for the state auditor.
