Aprel McCabe recognized with Eugene H. Rooney Public Service Award
The Office of the Comptroller is very excited to announce that CTR has been recognized, through Learning & Solutions Manager Aprel McCabe’s work with the MassAchieve Team, with the Eugene H. Rooney, Jr. Public Service Award.
Aprel’s work with the MassAchieve project is an example of excellent service to state employees. She was part of a cross-enterprise project team and advisory group that planned and implemented a new learning experience system which will better connect employees statewide to learning opportunities. In addition to eliminating redundancies, the project offers support for a hybrid workforce, and provides the Commonwealth with significant cost savings.
“If Aprel is involved in a project, we can be confident that the entire Office is putting its best face forward,” said Comptroller William McNamara. “This is another example of the professionalism and collaboration that Aprel and everyone on the Learning & Solutions Team is known for across the Commonwealth.”
The Eugene H. Rooney, Jr. Public Service Award, issued by the Human Resources Division, highlights human resources development as a planned, continuous effort to provide personal and professional growth opportunities that will enhance employee competency levels.
