CTR Job Opportunity: Statewide Director of Payroll Operations
CTR is seeking qualified candidates for one full-time (37.5 hours/week) Statewide Director of Payroll Operations position on the Statewide Payroll Team.
Under the supervision of the Assistant Comptroller for Payroll & Payments, the Director of Payroll Operations functions as the Statewide Payroll Officer, providing strategic leadership, supervisory oversight, and operational accountability for the statewide payroll function. They are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, consistency, compliance, and integrity of statewide payroll operations, including HRIS, payroll processing, payroll accounting, automation, departmental support, and quality assurance. The Director of Payroll Operations leads and supports the Statewide payroll Director Payroll Operations supervisors and staff, by establishing performance expectations and accountability standards, and promoting consistent application of statewide payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Salary Range
$125,000 – $145,000
This is a management position. The posted salary range is fixed and not subject to negotiation. The selected candidate will be offered a salary within this range, commensurate with their relative experience.
