DocuSign Tip of the Month: Save time with just one transaction – Use a Combined Form W-9 / EFT Authorization Form!
Departments seeking to submit a Form W-9 and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Authorization Form can use a Combined Form W-9 / EFT Authorization Form. This is more efficient than using a separate Form W-9 and EFT Authorization Form. This also only needs one MMARS transaction.
Instead of two separate steps, use the Combined Form W-9/Electronic Funds Transfer Form. This creates only one VCC or VCM instead of of two VCMs or a VCC and then a VCM.
When to use a Combined Form W-9/Electronic Funds Transfer Authorization Form:
- When setting up a new vendor (VCC)
- When modifying a current vendor’s address and banking information (VCM)
