Have you changed your passwords lately?

cybersecurity tip of the week

One of the best protections against cyber crime you can implement is frequent password updates. Criminals use artificial intelligence (AI) to detect weak, reused or similar passwords and use them to break into other applications. Set up a regular schedule to update your passwords for all applications every few months. Use long, complex words or phrases that do not resemble previously used ones, or have common words that can be guessed by AI.

Also be sure to also use multi-factor authorization to prevent hackers from gaining control of your applications and locking you out of your email, social media or banking accounts.
