NEW DATE: Annual Department Head Enterprise Security Access Certification Rescheduled to October 27
To reduce the burden on departments during the Close/Open period, the annual Department Head Enterprise Security Access Certification will move from June to October 27. We recognize that departments are still adapting to the new accounting system and security roles in Mosaic. This revised timeline will provide additional time to review security access.
We have also discontinued the annual Department Security Officer (DSOs) certification process in favor of more timely, real-time reviews by DSOs.
DSOs will receive additional guidance in early September. For now, DSOs should focus on the following goals:
- Actively using available DSO resources when performing DSO tasks
- Enrolling in available boot camps and drop-in sessions
- Promptly deactivating access for employees who retire, transfer or terminate employment
