New “Pause Verify Report – Every Day” Training Video for Leadership and Managers
The Office of the Comptroller released a new video reminding leadership and managers across the Commonwealth that cybersecurity isn’t just an annual training — it’s a daily mindset: Pause Verify Report Every Day. The video is also available in the PowerDMS Internal Controls resources and can be shared with staff as part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month [PowerDMS login required].
With the updated Internal Controls Policy, departments are now required to provide periodic cybersecurity awareness reminders to staff in addition to the mandatory annual cybersecurity awareness trainings. Routine reminders reduce the risks of disruption and the financial losses from incidents and fraud.
