Safeguard your Laptop and Work Devices on the Go
State employees travelling or commuting away from secure workstations should take extra care to safeguard their laptops and other work devices. These high value devices can be stolen for content and for resale.
Action Steps:
- Pause and verify that you have your devices with you and have not accidentally left them behind.
- Report immediately to your designated IT staff if a work device has been lost or stolen. The device can still be wiped of work data and potentially recovered.
