Some Forms 1099-NEC display incorrect dollar figure
The Office of the Comptroller is aware that a small percentage of contractors may have received a Form 1099-NEC (“Nonemployee Compensation”) for Tax Year 2022 which displays an incorrect dollar figure total in Box 1 “Nonemployee Compensation”.
Corrected Forms 1099-NEC will be re-sent to affected individuals by the end of this week. No action is required on the contractor’s part.
