Update – Potential Federal Government Shutdown
This memo rescinds the deadline set in issued on Comptroller Memo FY#2022-07, September 27, 2021, that required a response by October 4, 2021 regarding the impact of a potential federal shutdown to agencies and departments. As the deadline for the opening of federal fiscal year 2022 approached, the President and Congress enacted a Continuing Resolution that allows for a temporary extension of spending authorization by the federal government until December 3, 2021.
