Data Scraped from Social Media Leaked

The text "Cybersecurity Tip of the Week"

According to Cybernews.com, social media apps like Facebook and Clubhouse have allowed third parties to scrape and disburse user data. While you can’t get stolen data back, you can avoid future incidents by regularly changing your social media, work, and personal passwords. Strong, long, and complex passwords that are different across accounts will provide better protection. Use different emails for social media from banking and personal accounts, and pause to verify before opening any email.

In addition to your normal incident response protocols, please contact [email protected] with any incidents or suspected incidents of fraud or cyber-attacks or if you need assistance with internal controls.
